1. No Personal Data Collection or Transmission

PropCalc is designed to run 100% locally in your web browser.

We do not collect, track, transmit, store, or sell any personal data, financial information, or personal identifiers.
We do not track your browsing activity or capture personal data from websites you visit.
All property calculations (cashflow, weekly repayments, yields, stamp duty) are processed entirely inside your local browser instance.

2. Use of Extension Permissions

PropCalc requests minimal browser permissions required strictly for core features:

Host Permissions (Australian Property Websites): Host permissions (e.g. realestate.com.au, domain.com.au) are used exclusively to detect property listing prices and rental values on real estate listing pages to automatically pre-fill calculation fields locally.
Storage Permission (chrome.storage.local): Storage permission is used solely to remember your local preferences (such as default interest rate or deposit percentage) on your device.

3. Calculation Share URLs

When you click the "Share" button in PropCalc, calculation parameters are compressed locally into a URL parameter (e.g., ?calc=...). No data is sent to or stored on external servers or databases. Sharing is completely voluntary and handled client-side.

4. Third-Party Services

PropCalc does not use any third-party tracking scripts, analytics trackers, or advertising networks inside the extension.

5. Compliance with Developer Program Policies

PropCalc complies fully with the Google Chrome Web Store Single Purpose Policy and Developer Program Policies regarding data privacy and security.
